EA doesn't really mean that. They just think that it doesn't matter and that people will buy the game anyway. They are thinking "there are not enough people who feel like this to affect the sales of the game in any real way." @optimus - It's not just about being able to sell back you digital rights. In order to truly own a game, you have to be able to give it away for free if you want. You have to be able to give it away to a perfect stranger and you have to be able to sell it for your own negotiated price. If that was possible for digital copies it would break the single game model and thus it will never happen.

This can only be a question for someone who has not played both games.
KOTOR 1 was an unmitigated masterpiece, one the best games ever made on any platform.
KOTOR 2 was a cheap money grab with an incomplete mess of a story, but good gameplay and combat inherited from KOTOR 1.
No one who played both games will think KOTOR 2 is better or even as good as KOTOR 1. Especially not someone who played them both when they were new.

Bayonetta 1 didn't sell well because it was broken to the point of being literally unplayable on the PS3, where the hack n' slash gamers are.
